Resetting or Changing Your Wuxiaworld Password

If you've forgotten your password or would like to change it, you can do so using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Reset Your Password (Forgot Password)

Use this option if you can't sign in to your account.

1. Go to the Forgot Password page.
2. Enter the email address associated with your Wuxiaworld account.
3. Click Reset Password.
4. Check your email inbox for the password reset email.
5. Open the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
6. Once your password has been reset, sign in using your new credentials.

Option 2: Change Your Password from Your Profile

If you're already signed in, you can initiate the password reset process from your account settings. This option is available on both the website and mobile app.

Website

1. Go to Profile > Settings.
2. Under Account Settings, select Change Password.
3. A new browser tab will open and direct you to the login page.
4. Select Forgot Password.
5. Follow the password reset instructions sent to your email.

Mobile App

1. Go to Profile > Settings.
2. Tap Change Password.
3. Your device's default web browser will open and redirect you to the login page.
4. Select Forgot Password.
5. Follow the password reset instructions sent to your email.

Troubleshooting

If you don't receive the password reset email:

• Check your Spam or Junk folder.
• Make sure you entered the correct email address associated with your account.
• Allow a few minutes for the email to arrive before requesting another password reset.

Important Notes

Temporary Account Lock

For security reasons, your account will be temporarily locked after three consecutive failed login attempts.

• The account will remain locked for 15 minutes.
• During this time, you will not be able to log in, even if you successfully reset your password.
• Once the 15-minute lockout period has expired, you can sign in using your new password.
  
  

Password Reset Email Not Received

If you don't receive the password reset email:

• Check your Spam or Junk folder.
• Verify that you entered the correct email address.
• Wait a few minutes before requesting another reset.
  
  

Can I Change My Password Without Knowing My Current Password?

Yes. Both the Forgot Password page and the Change Password option from your profile use the same password reset process, so you do not need to know your current password.

Can I Reuse My Old Password?

For security reasons, we recommend creating a strong, unique password that you haven't used previously.

For your account security, Wuxiaworld will never ask for your password.

• Never share your password with anyone, including Wuxiaworld staff or Support.
• If anyone requests your password while claiming to represent Wuxiaworld, do not provide it.
• Keep your password private and use a strong, unique password to help protect your account.
