Cultivation Keys (Daily Check-in and Missions)

Cultivation Keys are Wuxiaworld’s new free unlock currency that has replaced the Regular Karma system for daily rewards and missions.

What Are Cultivation Keys?

• Cultivation Keys are used to unlock chapters—1 key unlocks 1 chapter.

• Cultivation Keys replaced Regular Karma for earning and unlocking new chapters.

• All remaining Regular Karma will be converted to Cultivation Keys on December 3, 2025 at a rate of 30 Regular Karma = 1 Cultivation Key (rounded up). 

• Golden Karma is not affected and remains available for purchase and chapter unlocking.

How to Earn Cultivation Keys

You can earn Cultivation Keys through daily login and reading missions.

Daily Login

• Automatically receive 1 Cultivation Key when you log in daily.

• No need to manually check in (unlike the old Karma system).

• If the automatic check-in fails on the app, a popup alert will appear allowing you to retry

Reader Levels and Login Streaks

Maintaining a continuous login streak increases your Reader Level, which grants higher Cultivation Key rewards.
If your login streak is broken, your Reader Level will reset.

The Reader Levels are:

• Regular Reader

• Avid Reader

• Engrossed Reader

• Devoted Reader

• Immersed Reader

• Obsessed Reader

• Sage Reader

• Ascendant Reader

• Transcendent Reader

• Mythical Reader

**Additional Notes for Auto Check-In

To ensure the auto check-in window appears and your daily Cultivation Key is successfully received, please make sure to:

• Update your app to the latest version

• Use a stable internet connection

• Refresh the webpage (for browser users)

• Restart the app (for mobile users)

Reading Missions

• Earn more keys by reading new chapters.

• A “new chapter” is one that:

  • You have never read before

  • Has not been previously opened in your reading history

• This includes chapters read through:

  • Regular Karma (acquired prior to October 9, 2024; converted to Keys on December 3, 2025)

  • Golden Karma

  • Wait to Unlock (WTU)

  • Champion subscriptions and advance chapters

  • VIP novels (if the chapter is new to you)

  • Even Ebooks—if you haven’t opened the chapters on Wuxiaworld, you can open them now to count as new

⚠ Re-reading or unlocking a chapter you've already read does not count.

Mission Rewards

• Complete daily missions by reading a total of 10 new chapters.

• You can earn up to 10 additional Cultivation Keys from missions daily.

• Combined with login, that’s a minimum of 11 keys per day!

• Special missions may also be added depending on the event.
